Where your data lives

MindToMap runs on Microsoft Azure. Your account data, mind maps, and uploaded files are stored in Azure SQL Database and Azure Blob Storage in Azure's cloud infrastructure.

Encryption

All traffic to and from MindToMap is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Data at rest — your mind maps, documents, and account details — is encrypted using Azure's industry-standard encryption for SQL Database and Blob Storage.

Your content and AI models

Your mind maps, documents, and prompts are sent to our AI providers only to generate the response you asked for — a mindmap, a suggestion, a chat reply. Your content is never used to train or fine-tune any AI model.

Who can see your maps

Your workspaces and mind maps are private by default and visible only to you and the members you explicitly invite. Support staff can only access your content with your permission, to help diagnose an issue you've reported.

Exporting and deleting your data

You can export any mind map at any time (PDF, PNG, JSON, Word, or PowerPoint). Deleting your account removes your mind maps and personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain records for legal or accounting purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Subprocessors

We share the minimum data necessary with the following providers to run the service:

• OpenAI — AI mind map generation, suggestions, and chat
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing
• Microsoft Azure — hosting, database, and file storage
